"Inspired by the "kids for cash" scandal in Luzerne County in the early 2000s, this compelling new work of musical theater gives voice to the families who fought back against a corrupt political machine that turned children into commodities. Commissioned and developed through the Lantern's New Works Program, this intimate American roots rock drama is the inaugural work of Kittson O'Neill and Tony Award-winning sound designer and composer Robert Kaplowitz."

Tickets are available now on the Lantern Theater Company's website.

"...the three supporting actresses...are also outstanding....Meek neighbor Alice is given depth by Tarves, whose voice melds beautifully with that of McLaughlin in several duets" - Mike Logothetis, Delaware Arts Info Blog
"Rounding out the cast is CTC regular Grace Tarves as the Bordens' neighbor and Lizzie's love interest. Tarves has a way with romantic roles, and she and McLaughlin have a wonderful chemistry, both in their romantic scenes and their scenes rife with anger" - Holly Quinn, Delaware Online
